ABOUT SARAH
a little bit about sarah:
Sarah Cadol (she/her/hers) is a performing artist currently based in North Carolina where she is earning her BFA in Acting from Elon University.
Sarah was born and raised in Denver, Colorado with her two moms & twin brother. She is also grateful to have had her grandparents & cousins to her in Colorado, as her family is very important to her.
When she’s not in class, rehearsing for an upcoming production, writing a play, or directing a show, Sarah loves spending time with her friends & family, teaching herself to play the guitar/piano, reading cozy fantasy books, thrifting, photographing the world around her, making jewelry, seeing live music, & being outside in the sunshine (or, as she says: “photosynthesizing”).
Sarah is a lover of puppies (specifically goldendoodles) & kittens, nature walks, beach days, Taylor Jenkins Reid books, smoothies, thrifted fashion, Maggie Rogers, 70’s music, chocolate ice cream, The Good Place, Dickinson, Modern Family & Stranger Things.
Sarah’s artistic background:
Sarah is passionate about several aspects of the performing performing arts, although she has the most experience & formal training in acting.
For the first 10 years of her training, ages 8-18, Sarah performed in stage plays & musical theatre. After being in college, she has expanded her horizons & has become an experienced on camera actor, after acting in over a dozen short films as well as taking studio camera acting classes.
As an actor, Sarah has stage, camera, & improv training. The techniques she has the most experience with include Meisner, Stanislavsky, Linklater, Fitzmaurice, Viewpoints, Chekov, & Commedia dell’arte.
In addition to acting, Sarah also has directed several plays, most of which were produced at Elon University. Most recently, she directed the world premiere of a new musical written by a student at Elon with the NewWorks student theatre organization.
Additionally, Sarah is double majoring in Strategic Communications & she utilizes this degree to enhance her skills in writing, graphic design, public relations, marketing herself as an artist (& even designing this very website!)
Supported by her studies in at the Elon School of Communications, she is an experienced writer both academically, & artistically.
She enjoys writing plays, poetry, & songs. Her first play, “CelEXbration” had its very first reading in April 2024, & Sarah is planning on having it workshopped within the next year.
